Will was diagnosed with Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma in July of 2012.  This is a cancer/tumor found in the adrenal gland, which is located at the top of the kidney. This type of cancer is extremely rare(only 1-2 diagnosed annually out of 1 million people) and the 5 year survival rate is 20-35%.  And yet, oAt the age of only five years old, Will has already successfully battled cancer. utside of his hearing aides and some scars, you would never be able to be the wiser if you met him.  

 

His interests are Super Heroes, TMNT, soccer, football (specifically a NY football Giants fan) and Taekwondo.  He emits positivity on a scale greater than we have ever seen, and is a huge inspiration to all of us here at SAE NJTG.  

 

In the words of the late Stuart Scott, "You beat cancer by how you live, why you love and the manner in which you live."  Will is the embodiment of this sentiment, and he inspires us everyday because of it.
